Convenience and Reliability
When you open the app for the first time, you will immediately be asked whether you want to enable push notifications. Enabling notifications allows you to see when your order is ready in real time and prevents you from missing out on special offers. Next, you will be prompted to enter your location. Either enter your address or enable the app to track your location. The app will provide you with carryout options depending on your location or deliver to the address you entered. You will also be notified of exclusive deals and promotions at a Papa John’s near you. At this point, you will need to login or create an account. If you are creating your account for the first time, you will see options to enable email and text notifications about offers and alerts. You can change your preferences in settings at any time. Once you order an item through delivery or carryout, you will be prompted to enter a payment method of either cash, credit/debit card, gift card, Apple Pay, or Visa Checkout. Note, that with “No Contact Options,” enabled, cash will be unavailable as a form of payment. You can save your payment method for future purchases when ordering, or add a payment method through the “Payments” section in the “Account” tab.

Rewards
All Papa John’s account holders are eligible to enroll in their Papa Rewards program. To earn “Papa Dough,” you just have to order from Papa John’s. Their novel system, five times faster than their old one, awards customers one point per dollar spent. For every 75 points earned, you get $10 of Papa Dough that can be applied to future purchases. When ordering in store or over the phone, you can provide the phone number associated with your Papa Rewards account to accrue those points Note that this is valid at participating locations only, so be sure to confirm beforehand.
Non-members can also earn the benefits of this rewards program. At the bottom of every receipt, there is a 12-digit code that enables customers to claim the points earned via their purchase when they create a Papa Rewards Account. These codes expire three days after they are received, and there may be a limit on how many codes can be claimed in a set period of time.
All Papa Dough is good for six months after it is received, and unredeemed points expire in 12 months.

Papa John’s new reward system is unique in the sense that it requires 75 points to redeem your $10 off. Under the old $25 for 5 points system, you could get a free large three topping pizza after purchasing six large pizzas. When using the system, you have to purchase seven large pizzas to get a free large three topping pizza, which is priced at $20. While at face-value, this may seem like a downgrade, it is far easier to earn and redeem points under the new point system. Coupled with coupon and promo codes, it is far easier to minimize costs and save more. The Papa John’s Rewards program is one that pizza lovers and average enthusiasts alike should invest in. The easy to use app supplements a solid pizza rewards program.
