It’s Taco Time! National Taco Day arrives on Tuesday, October 1. Taco Day used to be on October 4, but thanks to the good folks at Taco Bell, it’s official been changed to the first Tuesday in October. Yes, really. Lots of restaurants have great deals to help you celebrate, but some of them are on October 1, and some on October 4. It’s all a bit confusing, but we’ve put this guide together to help you out. We’ve confirmed all National Taco Day deals from verifiable sources such as the restaurant website or social media page. We don’t want anyone to have a Taco Day letdown with bogus info! Some deals are valid for dine-in only, while others are allowing them for takeout and delivery.

Chuy’s has $1 tacos and more taco and drink specials for National Taco Day on October 4. Get a Crispy Beef Taco for just $1 with any entree purchase. Also, enjoy $1 Floaters all day long (where applicable) – when you need some extra kick to your drink! Also, if you’re brave enough, show up dressed like a taco and you’ll get a free entree. Seems fair. The deals were announced on the Chuy’s social media pages – and Chuy’s has dedicated to bringing the fun on October 1 this year, too, according to this post.
Cinnabon
Yeah yeah, we know what you’re thinking – there’s no way Cinnabon is selling tacos, and you’re right, but National Cinnamon Roll Day is also October 4, and we just had to let you know Cinnabon has something big planned. Now through October 8, Cinnabon Rewards members can redeem a buy one, get one free baked good. Read below for more info on how to sign up for Rewards and download the app ahead of time to score your free food. A “Baked Good” includes Classic Rolls, MiniBons, a 4-count of BonBites – the bite-sized version of Cinnabon’s famous cinnamon rolls – or Center of the Roll, the ooey-gooey center of the Classic Roll.
