Convenience and Reliability
When you open to the app for the first time, you will be asked to login, sign-up, or continue as a guest. Accessing the app as a guest is a viable short-term strategy if you are in a hurry and only looking to place an order one time. The account creation process takes a grand total of thirty seconds and gives you access to exclusive deals and promotions, along with the rewards program. As part of the sign-up process, you will have to enable your location or enter your favorite Noodles and Company restaurant. Like most restaurant apps, the Noodles and Company app has a standard set of tabs at the bottom of your screen that will carry you through most transactions. The side-bar menu includes expanded options including nutritional information, payment methods, previous orders, etc. When you order for the first time, you will have to input either a credit, debit, or gift card as a payment method. You will have the option to save this payment method in the app for future orders. You can always edit your preferences by clicking “Payment Methods” in the sidebar menu.
Rewards
All Noodles and Company account holders are eligible for the Noodles Rewards program. This is a tier organized point-based system. Members with 0-1600 points are placed in the Classic Tier. Here, every dollar spent is worth eight points. Luckily, you are gifted 600 points just for signing up! This means you are only 1,001 points away from being in the Signature Tier. These members receive 10 points per dollar spent. The final tier is the Premier Tier. These members have accumulated 6,601 or more points and receive 12 points per dollar spent. You can earn points by ordering through the app, online, or in-person. The former two will be the easiest ways to add points, as they will be automatically added after you place your order. When you order in-person, you will need to have your personal bar-code scanned at the register. You can find this by clicking the “Scan” tab at the bottom of your screen. The points you earn can be used to redeem a heap of rewards. Rewards and their point requirements include:
- 150 Points: Extra Add-On (Sauce, Veggies, Cheese, Bacon)
- 300 Points: Regular Fountain Drink; Side Salad; Mac and Cheese
- 350 Points: Crispy Dessert; Cookie; Free Delivery; Side Soup
- 575 Points: Protein Add-On
- 600 Points: Small Shareable
- 750 Points: Limited Tortelloni (limited time)
- 850 Points: Regular Shareable
- 1150 Points: Small Entree
- 1200 Points: Kids Meal
- 1500 Points: Regular Entrée
- Birthday: Free Treat!
Rewards members can also earn points faster by completing challenges. Simply click the “Challenges” button on the homepage to see what challenges are available for you. When you are ready to begin your challenge, simply click “Start Challenge.” These are usually only valid for a limited time, so be sure to get them done as fast as you can!
A final perk of the rewards program is exclusive access to deals, promotions, and limited-time offerings. Be sure to visit the app frequently so you do not miss out on these perks!
Is the Noodles and Company App Worth It?
10/10
The Noodles and Company app is very well designed and pleasing to the eye. The structure is easy to follow, and everything is explained thoroughly without multiple redirects. There is not much more you can ask from this app from a setup and design standpoint.
The Noodles and Company Rewards program is top tier and benefits the customer. The point tiers are a bit of a grind, but attainable with time. The company incentivizes long-term commitment through regular gratification, so there is no loser here. There are higher point options for those that want to save more and get more. But there are also lower point options for those who might prefer spending their points more routinely. The 600 free points and a free birthday treat are just the cherry on top of a great app that you should definitely download to your device!
